Vattenfall is Europe’s fifth largest electricity generator and the largest generator of heat and operates in Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Poland, the Benelux countries as well as the UK.
Our strategy is to reduce emissions from power generation and we have a road map for achieving for climate neutrality by 2050. Investment in wind power is an important cornerstone for delivering our road map.
We are currently building nine wind farms in six countries, both onshore and offshore, and will double our electricity generation from wind power by 2011.
