The Danish Society of Engineers, IDA
The Danish Society of Engineers, IDA, is a professional body and trade union for technical and scientific professionals.
IDA has more than 82,000 members, and represents the interests of employees, managers and the self-employed within the fields of pay and employment, the labour market, industrial policy, skills, careers and training, the working environment, technology and research.
IDA has offices in Copenhagen, Odense, Aalborg and Aarhus, and is divided into eight geographical regions, with many volunteers involved in IDAs member benefits and development.
In brief, IDA membership brings a whole wealth of benefits to its members. IDA help members professionally, socially and financially – and, of course, as a trade union where appropriate. This ensures that all have the security and the tools needed in order to progress in the career.
