Networking for improving Danish participation and
access to EU-funding within the sphere of renewable
offshore energy
Primary goal of the project:
The project will provide researchers and companies in the Danish cluster of competencies in green offshore energy with enhanced participation in strategic research under the EU Framework Programmes for Research and Technological Development.
Short description of the project:
LORC and other network members are in a process of defining several projects for which the group can apply for EU-funding. The aim is to identify areas of technical content where a proposal will be the next step forward. Focus is on offshore wind technologies, wave energy strategy development and offshore re-training and education.
Partners and collaborators:
The network is led by the Alliance for Green Offshore Energy. The partners - all members of the Alliance - are Offshore Centre Denmark, Lindoe Offshore Renewables Centre, Risø DTU and Aalborg University.
Funding of the project:
The project is funded via a grant from Region Syddanmark, and with in-kind co-funding from the partners.
